Maryland has been working for several months on integration of “behavioral health services” with “somatic care.”  The MPS Behavioral Health Integration Workgroup (BHI Workgroup) has contributed actively to the deliberations with the DHMH and other stakeholders.

After being audited, a number of physicians have been fined and penalized by the Maryland Board of Physicians for being unable to provide evidence of at least 50 Category 1 CME credit hours earned to renew their medical licenses. Be sure to keep records of CME hours for six years, and double check before renewal time to be sure you have met the CME requirement. For a complete list of CME documentation requirements, visit the Maryland Board of Physicians web site at

American Psychiatric Publishing has redesigned psychiatryonline.org to provide a cohesive experience across APA's key titles and tools including The American Journal of Psychiatry, Psychiatric News, the DSM library, textbooks, practice guidelines, CME, and other key resources.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recommends that physicians know and maintain their National Plan and Provider Enumerator System User Ids and passwords, reset their NPPES passwords at least once a year and review their records to ensure that the information is current.
