REMEMBRANCE: Carol Antlitz
Publication Year: 2011
Examples of this include: Ms Antlitz compiled a listing of all APA district branches, with helpful information about how each one organized its office and programs. She began weekly trips to Annapolis to gather bills and organize information for our Legislative Committee. She helped MPS forge close relationships with many other professional and advocacy organizations, and helped develop the Maryland Joint Council on Interprofessional Affairs.
She was also a key participant in MPS seeking and purchasing our office, which has been a great asset.
In 1989 on her departure, I wrote in The Maryland Psychiatrist, “Carol has left us lasting legacies in our office and in the way we work as a society.” We are still benefitting from her vital contributions.
