Psychiatrist Position. A unique full-time shared psychiatrist position is
available serving both EHP Behavioral Services and the Johns
Hopkins University
Counseling Center.
EHP is a provider owned group that provides a full spectrum of psychiatric care
to Union Memorial
Hospital. The Johns
Hopkins University
Counseling Center
provides psychological services to undergraduate and graduate students at the Johns
Hopkins University.
This position will allow for the psychiatrist to split their time between these
two independent services. As a member of EHP payment is made according to the
number of patients seen and for administrative services provided. Medical,
health, disability, and life insurance is included. There is also the
opportunity to take advantage of retirement benefits which the group will
match. As a consulting psychiatrist for the JHU
Counseling Center
student clients are referred by staff psychologists for psychiatric evaluation
and medication management. Payment is a regular salary regardless of the number
of clients seen. A unique aspect
of this position is that the psychiatrist would be responsible for being a
liaison between the Johns

students are hospitalized the psychiatrist in this position would provide
seamless care between the two services so as to maximize contact between the Counseling
Center and the inpatient
service. The position is slated to begin between July 1, 2008 and September 1,
2008. If interested or if you wish more information about this position please
