THEE
AND ME
Oh
tree,
Thou great and wondrous tree,
You would not be,
Except for me,
Outside my view,
There is no you,
So
too,
The starry skies,
Would not exist,
Without my eyes,
If
and when,
At length, I die,
There’ll be no starry sky,
There’ll be no tree,
There is no you, without a me.
