Urbaitis to receive APA Shellow Award

The MPS’s outgoing APA Assembly Representative John Chapman Urbaitis, M.D. was selected along with Ellen R. Fischbein, M.D. of Connecticut to receive the Ronald Shellow Award. The award is given to a “departing” member of the APA Assembly who has served with distinction.  The Shellow Award is named after the late, much beloved Ron Shellow who spent many years in the Assembly representing Florida and served as Speaker in the early nineties.  Dr. Urbaitis is leaving the Assembly to serve as the newly elected trustee from Area 3.  Congratulations Dr. Urbaitis!
